Cookie Policy

Last updated: 22/09/2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy (hereinafter “Policy”) applies to pawatech.com (hereinafter “Site”). This Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are — and are not — used when you visit our Site. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we use personal data.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, improve user experience, and provide information to website owners. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels.

3. This Site sets no cookies

We do not use advertising, targeting, functionality or third-party tracking cookies anywhere on pawatech.com, and we do not load a tag manager or any third-party analytics script. This is why you will not see a cookie consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.

Browsing the Site — including our careers pages and the contact form — stores nothing on your device.

4. Cookie-free analytics

To understand how the Site is used, we run Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, self-hosted on our own servers. It works without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. It collects only aggregate, non-identifying information: pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, country, and anonymous product events (for example, that a job application was submitted — never its contents).

Visitors are counted using a short-lived rotating hash; IP addresses are not stored, and no analytics data leaves our infrastructure or is shared with anyone. We process this data under our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and retain the aggregated statistics for a maximum of 24 months.

You can switch this measurement off for your browser at any time below. Opting out stores a single “umami.disabled” entry in your browser’s local storage so we can remember your choice on this device; opting back in removes it. Browser content blockers that stop the /site.js script have the same effect.

5. Strictly necessary cookies on sign-in areas

Some of our related subdomains (such as our staff tools) offer authenticated access. Signing in there uses only strictly necessary cookies, which are exempt from consent requirements and are never used for tracking:

  • SESSION — keeps you signed in to our staff tools; up to 7 days.
  • PT_APP — routes the sign-in flow to the right application during login; 5 minutes.

Our staff tools may also keep small interface preferences (such as a collapsed sidebar) in your browser’s local storage. These contain no personal data.

6. Your choices

Because the Site sets no cookies, there are no cookie preferences to manage. You can clear or block cookies and site storage at any time through your browser settings; the analytics opt-out above is the only setting specific to this Site.
